I have been receiving calls all week from parents who are frustrated at their child’s bad behavior. They say that they have tried everything but nothing works. They have taken away everything and the child just doesn’t care.

When I ask them what has happened to all of the things they have taken away, the parent generally replies, "I gave it back after a couple of days."

There are several things that I hear from parents that are the root of the problem.
